Overview

Zendesk is where many of your customer issues live, but it’s not always obvious which tickets matter most - or how they tie back to the broader customer relationship. Noded helps you keep track of important tickets by connecting them to your notes, accounts, and people inside Noded.

Zendesk can show you every ticket for a customer, but it can’t surface the surrounding context - like what the CSM discussed last week, or what commitments were made in a renewal conversation. Noded brings that context together so you always know what’s happening and what needs follow-up.

How it works

Once connected, Noded automatically ingests any Zendesk Ticket whenever you paste or reference its URL. Each ticket is linked to the relevant accounts and contacts you’ve tagged in Noded, keeping everything organized and easy to navigate.

Here’s what you can do:

  • Paste Zendesk Ticket links into Noded for automatic tracking.
  • See updates to tickets directly inside Noded, alongside the context from your own notes and account activity.
  • Understand a ticket in the broader customer picture- without switching tools or losing track of what matters.

Every ticket stays connected to its related accounts and people in Noded, so the full story is always one click away.

Configure

Any user can connect their Zendesk account from the Apps section in Noded.

To add/connect your Zendesk account to Noded:

  1. Under the Zendesk app in Noded, click on the "Connect" button.
  2. When prompted, authorize Noded to connect to your Zendesk account by clicking the "Allow" button.
  3. Done! You should see your email in green under the Zendesk app, and the button that previously had "Connect" will now display "Settings".

To check the status of your Zendesk connection:

  1. Under the Zendesk app in Noded, click on the "Settings" button.
  2. If the Zendesk connection is functioning as expected, you should see the status as "WAITING".
  3. If the Zendesk connection is not functioning as expected, you will see the status as "FAILED". In the case of a failed connection, we recommend clicking on the refresh icon beside the word "FAILED", which will prompt you to re-authorize and reset the connection with Zendesk.
  4. If you wish to disable your Zendesk connection temporarily, you can toggle the switch beside the connection to off.

To remove your Zendesk connection:

  1. Under the Zendesk app in Noded, click on the "Settings" button.
  2. Click on the red button showing a broken link to "Disconnect this application from your account".
  3. Once disconnected, Noded will no longer bring your Zendesk events into Noded.

To delete your Zendesk records:

  1. Click on the "Everything" section in Noded and change the filter from "Everything" to “Records”.
  2. Open each event one-by-one clicking the Delete button to remove it.
