We started our company because we had a vision of how to attack the market with a unique skillset and voice. And a few awesome people who wanted to go on this journey with us. We are a digital creative and marketing agency disrupting a legacy market and we know how to work with customers and drive their projects. What we didn’t know was keeping everything about EVERY customer straight was hard. And sharing and collaborating across the team was an imperative.
We use Zoom transcripts (we will admit we just don’t have the time to read them) and a project management tool extensively. These are great for capturing details during a call and it is great for defining tasks and tracking those tasks to completion for a customer project. But these are only a fraction of what matters around a customer. The notes we take. The back and forth emails. The Slack threads. Pulling this all together and keeping our growing list of customers straight is a challenge (one I love) to say the least.
Noded has helped us keep all of this information straight. We create a tag (think a channel in your collaboration app) for each customer and take notes (sloppy ones at best) during (or anytime) our discussions and also pull in our call transcripts. While doing this we are capturing actions for ourselves, others on the team, and sometimes our asks of the customer. We also send emails we feel are critical to Noded. Same with Slack threads (but not Karina’s 13 threads on cat memes:). Why? We may go days or even a couple of weeks at times in between a customer discussion. Instead of spending hours preparing for a discussion after not meeting with a customer for weeks (trying to find everything across my project management tool, email, Slack, etc), we now click their tag in Noded and instantaneously see anything and everything we need to know about the customer. We even get a summary with key actions. In context. It is like having a digital assistant briefing us at exactly the right moment! Noded helps us keep everything about our customers in one place and drive action and ultimately client success every single day. All in, using Noded has saved us an average of 8 hours per business week on organizing our meeting notes, figuring out and assigning to-do’s to our team, and pulling together data and preparing for the next meeting.
